Post 6878 Facilities

VFW Post 6878 Memorial Hall

This building is where many activities take place such as Post 6878 meetings that are held twice a month and where we serve our breakfasts and dinner engagements and other events post related. The building is large enough for good sized gatherings such as organizational meetings, weddings, graduation parties, has men and women restrooms and is air conditioned - warm in the winter and cool in the summer and the general public can reserve and rent it for their special occasions. The cost to rent is $150 ($50 of that is a deposit that will be returned after your event and everything is cleaned up and in order.) This rental includes the use of the kitchen.

Post Memorial Hall Pavilion

Available to the public at no cost and located in the lot behind the Post Hall and is a "stone's throw from the Ohio River and Food Fair.

If you're going to have a good-sized gathering it would be a good idea to call ahead of your outdoor event as it is a "First Come, First Serve" basis.

There is a nice parking area right next to the shelter that makes it nice for those who have difficulty walking.

Plenty of room for parking and comes with a burn pit. Please abide by state regulations for burning during certain hours.
